HughesNet® Satellite Internet Installation

With every HughesNet® order comes professional installation by a HughesNet certified installer. After calling us to place
your HughesNet internet order, your technician will call you to an installation appointment at a time convenient to you.
On the day of the appointment, your installer will provide all necessary equipment - the satellite dish, a satellite internent modem
and all necessary cabling. Upon succesful installation, your installer will activate your modem and your HughesNet account for you
to verify successful high-speed connection.

The HughesNet® Installation Process
- The technician mounts a HughesNet dish to a customer-approved structure. To meet FCC regulations, the dish is placed at least 5 feet above the ground and is secured with HughesNet mounting brackets.
- The technician installs a coaxial cable jack indoors. Two exterior RG-6 coaxial cables are routed from the dish to this jack.
- Before leaving the property, the technician ensures that the system is properly grounded, that a satellite signal is being received, and that the account is activated.
Note: If complex installation is expected, please discuss your needs with the installer before work begins. Previously mounted equipment may be repaired or removed if a waiver of liability is signed.
